My facials aren’t your typical facial. First of all, the Signature Feminist Facial is an acupuncture facial. Acupuncture lays the groundwork and provides longevity of treatment, meaning that session after session, results layer on beautifully. But it’s not just that—it’s manual lymph drainage, gua sha for sculpting, and cupping for lifting.
Somehow, we collectively forgot about the face while having a simultaneous obsession with it. Fillers, Botox, TikTok beauty trends… all in the name of looking younger.
But did you know that the face has four major cranial nerves running through it? Did you know that having your face touched sends evolutionary signals to your brain that tell it you’re safe?
Those cranial nerves are the closest to the brain over all other parts of the body.
Seeking embodiment through the face has its aesthetic purposes, sure. But it’s also a straight shot to learning how to release tension from your body. And it starts with the face.
I don’t take kindly to the fact that women are so harshly judged for the proof of life that their faces show, so my Feminist Facials honor the hard work of being alive while also legitimately stripping away stress, tension, and habitual holding patterns that age you past your years.

I’m Chryssa, and I’ve been an acupuncturist for over a decade.
Like all acupuncturists, I’m well-versed in helping people out of pain. Sciatica, tendonitis—you name it, I’ve treated it.
“Pain” can take on a lot of forms, though, and as my work has deepened, so too has my focus.
I’m considered a local expert in fertility acupuncture, which means that women’s health means a lot to me.
That has morphed in the past few years and expanded to include beauty: I’ve developed my own facial acupuncture system (the Signature Feminist Facial) that’s safe for pregnant people and migraine sufferers.
